This vegetarian family meal is made with simple, low-cost ingredients. After just 5 minutes of prep, the oven does the rest of the work and in 30 minutes you will have the most glorious-looking, crispy-topped bake ready to eat. Broccoli, Rice, Cheese, and Chicken Casserole

  Ingredients 2 cups water 2 cups uncooked rice 1 -10 ounce can of cream of chicken soup 1-10 ounce can of cream of mushroom soup 2 cups of cooked chicken, shredded ¼ cup butter 1 cup of milk 1 small white onion 16 ounces broccoli pieces 2 cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded Instructions FIRST STEP: Preheat the oven to 350* Cook the rice according to directions SECOND STEP: In a 9x13 baking pan, put the rice and the chicken in, add in the soups, butter, broccoli and onion. Stir together with 1 cup of the cheese Bake for 30 to 35 minutes THIRD STEP: During the last few minutes, sprinkle the rest of the cheese on the top and allow it to melt. Remove from the oven and let it sit for 5 minutes. FOURTH STEP: Serve with a dinner salad or breadsticks. Serve hot and enjoy!
